An hour in. That girl with red hair is really fucking annoying. More annoying than all of FFX put together.

CGI looks awesome though.

Now down in the crystal water bit. To be honest the game isn't too bad. CGI is great, general graphics are pretty good and the battle system seems to work quite well.

The new abilities and stuff works sort of the same as 10 which isn't a bad thing. Would of been good to have included armour etc like the earlier Final Fantasy's rather than just weapons and accessories.

There seem to be an awful lot of save points though...can't help but think they were aiming for a new audience.

Yeah get the same feeling bout the new audience. Agree with the only having weapon and accessory + i HATE the fact there's only attack and magic, wheres the spirit/defense/Speed.ect. I loved building up those stats. Playing at the start, game seems very linear in terms of exploring, cant go anywhere except the pre defined path, But not to much further into the game than you so hopefully that will change. Liking the paradigm system love the way you can make your own thats awesome. Also the upgrading weapons and armor fuckin rules, great new touch.

Yeah the lack of attributes is rather annoying although you can get them boosted in battle using a synegist.

It is extremelly linear, sometimes you get what appears to be two ways but is really just one as the other comes to the same point around 100 yards down the road.

I'm a fair bit in to the scrap yard now, played around 5 hours 30 I think. Chapter 4.

I just put any old shit on the weapons, I am sure there will be some epic weapon upgrades you can do with the right items.

Hated the paradigm system but have got used to it and have seen the importance of it now. It was so easy early on there was no point bringing a medic out.

I'm 13 hours in now. Still playing pretty well, some of the bosses are right bitches though. You get a new character soon, but is a bit pathetic when compared to what you already have. Black guy makes me laugh.

bout an hour into the second cd now, Startin to like the paradigm system more an more. Though i will be bad disapointed if 2nd cd is as short or as linear. Still feels like im at the start of the game with no real progression. Wheres the big open world, cities and the like. Liking the ,but so far its the worst of the bunch.
