It should be a fair bit better, but your CPU may hold you back in a few games.

ahh change of plan... looking at a demo of some of the new cards... i came to the conclusion.. the fecker wont fit in my small tower .. 8O

looking like instead brad will keep his graphics card.. but give me a gaming case... plus an nvidia socket 775 motherboard....

i will then buy an intel core quad lga 775.... at £132.99...(the dearer version is out of stock on clockers ..and its nearly 200 quid..so...)

then i was looking at a geforce gtx 260 896mb pci-express card at £139.99

i can the salvage my other pci cards..usb..sound card...ethernet ect
and hopefully ram... ddr2.. i have 4 gb in this one....

its the power suply im wondering about... will the 600watt one i have be ok ???

600W should fine as long as it is a good brand.

You have PCI cards for USB, sound and ethernet?
