No new one.

Should be better than AVP, AVP2 and Predator 2.

I am also waiting. I watched AVP and AVP2 telesync's but they were far too dark. Even the HD releases were dark, have to turn the brightness up on them slightly.

You forgot AVP Requiem? Or is that the second one?
Was another shit film anyway.

I watched Alien 3 for the first time start to finish yesterday. I guess the fact its pretty old now didn't help but I thought it was pants compared to Alien & Aliens. Might even say I enjoyed Resurrection more.

AVP2 is Requiem.

Can't remember Alien 2 or 3. Aliens is one of a few films that actually did better at the box office than the original (in this case Alien).

Alien - Ridley Scott - One Alien on the ship after their dude gets facehugged when they investigate a planet.
Aliens - James Cameron - The marines, laods of shooting, fighting and stand offs. The action packed one. I think the best one.
Alien 3 - Just had to check who directed it, David Fincher- Crash lands on a prison planet, pretty crap story. Pretty crap ending.
Resurrection - Some French dude - They clone Ripley, to get the queen embryo. Ripleys ends up being super strong/acid blood and stuff from the cloning. Loads of the aliens set out and go ripping stuff up. They have to blow up the ship before it crashes on earth and the aliens would munch everyone up. Oh and there is the weird human alien because the queen got a womb or summit. It's a bit weird really.

See. Told you it was weird. This alien never made it to the film though. I was gonna say i didnt remember a giant walking vagina in Resurrection.

Just looked it up, but I swear there was another film called Alien 2...

I remember Aliens well, can't remember 3 though, but the vagina alien would of been a good addition.

The directors called Nimrod or something equally daft, hope thats not a bad sign. The last few alien a la predator instalments have been shit to be honest, and this coming from a bloke whos got abit of a fetish for this stuff... Ahem. Fingers crossed for a decent flick to silence my critical tongue!

I don't think it will be great, but as long as it isn't compared to the original Predator then it will seem like a good film.

I really enjoyed it, just got back from watching it.

Was a direct sequel to the original Predator movie and was quite a homage to it. Similar music, look and some neat touches. I'd certainly say it would win back fans of the original who lost faith with the sequels.

This film seems to slot in after Predator and possibly before Predator II as that was set in 1997. There is couple of comments that reference the original movie, but also a comment that can be heard in the first AVP movie which stood out to me.

You could effectively watch Predator, Predators, Predator II, AVP 1 & 2 then the Alien movies and they'd all slot in together.

Although, like the original in many ways this is taken a little more sci-fi so somewhat more comic book but still dark and tense as well with a couple of interesting little twists.

If you liked the original then watch this as although it'll never be that classic, it certainly is a very good movie
