Best TV series/season

So you chaps seem to watch a lot of Series. I rarely do. Band of Brothers is excellent although as i've said before I have only seen the first few parts so can't comment fully. Other than that the best TV series, and probably the only one I have put everything else off to watch was Season 1 of Heroes. Which was simply amazing. I really am considering watching it again because it was that good.

So, my question is, what are the other series you would recommend? (And where do i download them??)
Which is your favourite series and if there is a particular, which season?

Because I'm boring (and limited) im going with Season 1 Heroes.

Toughy.

Pretty much every South Park season was hilarious. Band of Brothers, Fringe, The Big Bang Theory, Heroes, Prison Break, Better Off Ted, Modern Family.

But the best one for me was Dexter. Just a really clever idea and performed perfectly imo.

Men of a Certain Age is quite good but only just started and probably won't be to the taste of most people. Better off Ted and The Big Bang Theory but are both funny but are an aquired taste due to the intelligent humour. Modern Family is also a good comedy that has just started.

Only TV i actually watch is Lost, Heroes and Supernatural (oh and xfactor when its on). Im not a very TV person... Dont really watch films either.

Anyway out of those 3 i watch i would say Supernatural was my favourite. Lost kinda gets confusing... If you havent watched it from the beginning you wont have a clue whats going on. Heroes is still very good, and is good at wanting to see the next one by the way they end every episode in suspense. But Supernatural is very good and has more action and sex (Well its slogan is 'Scary goes Sexy'). The end of the last series was a major pisstake by leaving you in major suspense. Need to find out when the next series is coming out actually.

same for me... my misses is absolutly gutted we watched it so quickly.... my first choice for sure

Thats one thing I like about watching Heroes on the BBC run. I am forced to wait a week to watch the next episode. I know if I had them all at my fingertips I would have watched the lot by now. My brother really likes Lost, I just don't get it and I can't be arsed to go back and watch it from the start. The first Lost was on channel 4 6 years ago now.
